Medicine Bags & the finishing touch

Medicine Bags by Ross W – Artist

This project slowed to a crawl for a few weeks. I was having trouble finding an adequate way to thread in the drawstrings. A paperclip was the weapon of choice until I realized it would take me a year to thread all 100 plus bags lol. I then fashioned a much more functional apparatus, a hooked paperclip taped to a paint brush. It worked for a time but it would repetitively break. I then turned to purpose tailoring steel, medium gauge wire with rounded ends and eyelets at both ends. It will withstand the test of time and sped up the process ten fold, I mean to produce many more of these bags and other variations. Above; quarter pile of the final stock, ready for market 🙂
